Over the years I've done all the standard tourist things in London, and a few more off-the-beaten track ones too, so I was surprised and delighted to find this book, which has opened my eyes to all sorts of new experiences. Packed with new ideas for things to see and do, on any budget and at any time of the day or night, this book has brought London back to life for me. I am very much looking forward to the Paris edition and hopefully to many more to come.

We were so excited to recieve our 24 Hours in London yesterday in the post. We are planning a trip down to London soon and this is full of great - and different - ideas. My wife is keen to try lots of the "foodie" things, from the Hummingbird bakery to Books for Cooks - I'm sure she'll have us zipping around london at top speed. Virtually everything I looked at in the book sounds intriguing. Who knows where we'll end up! At least we know that we have this comprehensive, well-sized guide that is sure to keep us busy! Looking forward to the Paris version.

Marsha Moore's new London guide is not your average travel guide. It is divided into 24 sections, one for each hour, each of which has several suggestions for things that can be done at that time. Looking for an early breakfast at 7:00 am? This guide tells you where to go. Want to party at 2 am? There's a place for that too. Looking for breakfast before you go to bed after a long night of partying? Yup, there's a place for that too. This guide is also home to the most interesting and unique things that you can do while in London, taking you off of the beaten tourist track. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting London through the power of the written word and when I eventually get there, I hope to visit some of these places in person.

I got this book as a present for a friend who just moved to London and I thought it's a wonderful idea to explore the great city of London hour by hour. The city never does sleep as you will see in this great book! I especially like all the details about the various cemeteries.

I love that this book is easy to read and use. It conveniently fits into my day bag. Having travelled to London a few times, this is a perfect guide to see and do new things. I have learned new facts and have discovered new favourites in a city I love so much!-- JK (Canada)

Marsha sets the pace, and makes you want to keep up... unearthing all of London's quirky offerings with an energetic style that inspires you to try the best of what it has to offer. She reflects the best part of London's open minded character by pulling together places that don't normally share the same catalogue - it's an open minded approach to filling your free time and a great reminder that there is so much London to live if time, energy and the transport system allow.

24 Hours London is different in that it is an around-the-clock guide to what to do in London, and it truly has the sorts of suggestions that are some of London's best-kept secrets, showing off the depth and breadth of what London has beyond the known and obvious tourist traps (though these are of course still worth a visit!). It's not a stiff or formal guide - it's easy-to-read and includes all relevant details/information (how to get there/opening times etc). Whether it's your first time to London or if you've lived there all your life, this book is definitely worth buying.
